The 8000 series is a durable, versatile, and simple-to-install electric strike for use with cylindrical locksets and has a variety of finishes and faceplates from which to choose.

Durable

Its static strength is rated up to 1,500 lbs, and its dynamic strength is rated at 70 ft-lbs. Another bragging right for this concealed electric strike is its endurance being tested to 1 million cycles! Its strength is due to its unique keeper pin locking design. Versatile

Certifications abound for the 8000 series; it is RoHS compliant, UL 294 (6TH edition) listed, UL 1034 burglary-resistant listed and suitable for outdoor use, and ANSI/BHMA A156.31, Grade 1 certified. It is specified for situations where dual voltage (12/24 VDC/VAC), 240 Ma at 12 VDC/120Ma at 24 VDC, and PoE-friendly requirements need to be met; please note that this is intended for DC continuous duty or AC intermittent duty only.

Simple to Install

Installation is a breeze with no cutting on the frame being necessary for this product. Accommodating ½” to 5/8” cylindrical latchbolts, it can be used in metal or wood frame applications, including where there is a sagging door or misalignment. You can be assured of frame clearance and fit for any ANSI frame prep set with hinge and door spacings that fall within SDI-129-04.

Aesthetics

This premium product is available in several finishes, so that you never have to choose between form and function. You can select 605-Bright Brass, 606- Satin Brass, 612- Satin Bronze, 613- Bronze Toned, 629- Bright Stainless Steel, 630- Satin Stainless Steel, and BLK-Black.

The 8000 Series comes with a variety of faceplate options, all of which are intended for use with latchbolts up to 5/8” throw but can be used in different scenarios, from cylindrical lockets in ANSI metal jambs to cylindrical locksets that need four-point mounting for wood frames.
