The HES ES100 is an Aperio wireless integrated electric strike and card reader - a battery-powered retrofit that brings real-time online access control to an existing opening without running wire to the door. Built on the proven HES 1500/1600 strike platform, it combines the strike, an HID multiCLASS SE reader, and 2.4 GHz Aperio wireless connectivity in one unit that communicates with nearly any access control platform through an Aperio hub, with fully encrypted transmission.
Choose the 1500 Series body (1-3/8" depth) for cylindrical and mortise latchbolt locksets or the 1600 Series body (1-5/8" depth) to also capture deadbolts, with Complete Pac faceplate bundles for latchbolts (L), deadbolts (D), or both (S). The strike delivers 1,500 lbs of static strength and 70 ft-lbs of dynamic impact in tamper-resistant stainless steel, with dynamic field adjustability, a non-handed design, and fail-secure operation. It runs on two included AA lithium batteries (about 45,000 cycles) with a micro-USB port for emergency power, and reports door position, tamper, and battery health in real time.
Credentials cover 13.56 MHz smart cards plus NFC/BLE mobile access on BLE-enabled reader models, with a bi-color LED for status at the door. Rated IP65 for indoor or exterior inswing use across -25 C to 60 C, the ES100 ships either as a pre-paired lock and hub kit (no Aperio certification required) or as field-configurable components for certified integrators.
