The HES 8000 Series is the concealed, no-cut electric strike for cylindrical locksets: no cutting on the frame at all. Remove the existing strike plate, set the vertical alignment feature to the latchbolt centerline, and install - the strike drops into the jamb with the frame untouched. A keeper pin locking design lets the 8000 exceed the ratings of the frame, door, and locking hardware.
Rated ANSI/BHMA A156.31 Grade 1 with 1,500 lbs static strength, 70 ft-lbs dynamic impact, and 1,000,000 tested cycles, the tamper-resistant, non-handed strike accommodates 1/2" to 5/8" cylindrical latchbolts (5/8" with a 1/8" door gap). Vertical adjustability compensates for door sag and misalignment, and the body width is slimmed to 1-7/16" with a 1-1/16" depth for broad frame compatibility in metal, wood, or aluminum jambs.
It runs on dual voltage 12/24 VDC/VAC (240 mA / 120 mA; DC continuous duty, AC intermittent) with a PoE-friendly draw, internally mounted solenoid, and plug-in connector. Order the strike body with a faceplate kit, or the 8000C Complete Pac bundling the 801 and 801A faceplates (630 finish only), with an optional LBM latchbolt monitor. Outdoor rated, windstorm certified, and backed by the SecuriCare 5 year no-fault warranty - 10 years with the SMART Pac III.
