Electric locks are only as reliable as the power behind them. A Magnalock, strike, or reader on an undersized, noisy, or unsupervised supply fails in ways that look like a lock problem, and a lock on the door itself still needs a protected path for its wires across the hinge. Securitron's power line covers both halves of that job.

For the supply, AQD and AQS switching power supplies are compact and efficient, with Class 2 power-limited outputs, battery charging, and fire alarm release inputs; AQL intelligent supplies add modular, configurable outputs such as relay modules; BPS linear supplies deliver the very clean power many reader and camera manufacturers recommend; and plug-in PSP units and AQE Power over Ethernet injectors cover single devices. For the door, electrical power transfers such as the EPT and concealed CEPT and SEPT models run wires hidden between the door edge and frame on the hinge side, the ICPT PowerJump transfers power across the door gap by inductive coupling with no exposed pins or wires, and armored door cords and electric hinges handle retrofits and exit devices.
