PoE, Plug-In & Solar Power Supplies

Not every device sits next to a boxed power supply. Network cameras and door controllers increasingly expect Power over Ethernet, small single devices only need a plug-in adapter, and a remote gate may be nowhere near line power at all. This group covers those cases.

For network power, the AQE30 midspan injector adds Power over Ethernet to a device on a non-PoE switch, working between the switch and the device from a 24 volt AC or DC input, and the AQE30-E extractor does the reverse, drawing 12 VDC up to 25 watts from a PoE line to run a non-PoE device such as a camera. Rack-mount injectors bring the same function to many ports with remote monitoring. For single devices, PSP plug-in power supplies deliver filtered, regulated DC, with the PSP-12 at 12 volts and 700 mA and the PSP-24 at 24 volts and 350 mA, each with an internal thermal fuse and a long output cable, and higher-capacity versions provide 36 watts. For remote openings with no power available, BPSS solar power supplies pair a solar panel with battery storage to run a single access control device and fail-secure lock on intermittent duty.
