HES 1600 Series Electric Strike is a heavy-duty, Grade 1 rated door release solution that sets a new industry standard. It offers dynamic adjustability and field-configurable options to fit virtually any cylindrical or mortise lockset. This electric strike’s fully finished, modular design allows it to blend with surrounding door hardware (available in seven finishes) while simplifying stocking and installation through interchangeable faceplates and accessories. The strike features a compact 1-5/8” depth for easy frame fitting and supports dual-voltage 12/24V AC/DC input with low current draw, making it PoE-friendly for modern access control systems. Field-selectable fail-safe/fail-secure operation allows the installer to choose the safe state without extra parts. For enhanced security monitoring, optional internal sensors (door/latch monitors) can be added to detect door status and latch engagement. The unit is non-handed, enabling effortless installation on left- or right-hand doors.
