Visonic Residential and Commercial Motion Detectors

This is the main indoor motion range, and it is sorted by how visible the detector should be and how much interference the room throws at it. The miniature models are flush-mounted in a wall or installed from behind it, offering inconspicuous or concealed protection for rooms, wide corridors and passageways, and they also drive CCTV, access control and similar systems rather than only alarm zones.

Ceiling mount models cover a room from above in 360 degrees. The PIR version is 3-3/8 inches across and blends into the decor, and the dual technology version adds a microwave sensor to prevent false alarms in the harsh conditions that occur in residential and commercial buildings.

Where a room is genuinely difficult, dual technology detectors combine a PIR sensor with a complementary active microwave sensor in one unit so the two have to agree, anti-masking models detect attempts to block the detector, and pet tolerant models keep working in areas where dogs, cats or other animals are present.
