Visonic Miniature PIR Detectors

The SPY detectors exist for installations where the detector should not be seen: retail floors, offices with a finish to protect, and any site where a visible sensor invites tampering. They are flush-mounted in a wall or installed from behind the wall, and the lens is the only part on show.

Choose by coverage pattern rather than by size, since all three are the same miniature format. One model throws a single double beam up to 35 feet at 17 degrees down a corridor or passageway, another covers three double beams at 25 feet across 50 degrees for a room, and the widest covers six double beams at 25 feet across 100 degrees.

All of them support control applications as well as security, so they can trigger CCTV, access control and similar systems instead of an alarm zone. Despite the miniature size, they use the same detection technology as the full size models.
