Visonic Access Control Motion Detectors

A detector in this category is not watching for intruders. It is watching for someone approaching a door so that the door opens, or so that a locked door releases on the way out, which is a different job with different wiring.

The passive infrared detector listed here is designed for access control and automatic door opening systems. When motion is detected the relay output provides the signal that activates the door opening mechanism, and the output activation time is adjustable between 1 and 60 seconds, so the door can be held open long enough for a cart or a wheelchair.
