Spot-Type Smoke & Heat Detectors

Spot-type detection is the core of the System Sensor line: smoke and heat detectors that mount on a ceiling or wall and protect the area around them. The i3 series conventional photoelectric smoke detectors install plug-in with LED indicators and drift compensation to reduce false alarms, in 2-wire and 4-wire models, as photoelectric or combination photoelectric/thermal with a fixed 135°F heat sensor, and in versions with onboard sounders and Form C relays.

Where smoke sensing isn't appropriate, heat detectors such as the 5151 combine fixed-temperature and rate-of-rise sensing, and low-profile detectors like the 2151T suit retrofit and custom installations. System Sensor also offers intelligent, addressable spot detectors for larger networked systems.

A full range of accessories supports the line: plug-in bases, including sounder and relay bases, surface mounting kits, flange rings, adapter brackets, and installation and removal tools that speed install and service.
