Carbon Monoxide & Combination CO/Smoke Detectors

System Sensor carbon monoxide detection centers on the COSMO i4 series, which combines CO and photoelectric smoke sensing in a single detector, in 2-wire (COSMO-2W) and 4-wire (COSMO4W) versions that protect one point against both hazards. Matching COSMOD interface modules connect the detectors to conventional fire alarm control panels.

Because electrochemical CO sensors have a limited service life, the i4 line uses field-replaceable CO-REPL sensor cartridges, so a detector can be refreshed in place when the sensor reaches end of life instead of being fully replaced, and CO-PLATE cover plates and bases complete the install.
