Conventional CO and Combination Detection

Conventional carbon monoxide detection ties into a standard 2-wire or 4-wire fire alarm panel rather than an addressable loop. System Sensor's i4 platform does this with combination CO/smoke detectors (COSMO-2W and COSMO4W) and matching COSMOD interface modules that translate the detector's separate smoke and CO outputs into distinct signals the panel can act on, so a fire and a CO event are annunciated differently as NFPA 72 expects.

The line is built for long service: a 10-year electrochemical CO cell with end-of-life warning, a field-replaceable CO-REPL sensor cartridge that swaps in without tools, and CO-PLATE cover plates for retrofits over older footprints. One device on one circuit replaces a separate CO detector and smoke detector, which cuts wiring, back boxes, and labor.
