Intelligent CO Sounder Bases
On addressable systems, carbon monoxide signaling is often handled at the detector base rather than by a separate appliance. The System Sensor B200S intelligent sounder base occupies its own address on the signaling line circuit and sits under a 200 Series addressable detector, producing a Temporal 3 pattern for fire or the Temporal 4 pattern NFPA 72 assigns to carbon monoxide, with selectable high or low volume. The panel commands the base directly, so a combination CO/smoke detector can sound the right pattern in the room where the hazard is without a dedicated notification circuit.
The base requires a panel and firmware that support intelligent sounder bases; confirm compatibility before specifying, since group and all-call operation depend on the panel. It pairs with the addressable combination CO/smoke detectors used on Honeywell fire panels such as Fire-Lite and Notifier, which are built on System Sensor sensing technology.
Conventional CO detection is under conventional CO detection, and the base itself is listed under accessories. Browse the full System Sensor catalog, or contact our team to confirm panel support.
