Reflected Beam Smoke Detectors

System Sensor beam detectors protect large open areas with high ceilings, such as atriums, warehouses, gymnasiums, and houses of worship, where spot detectors are impractical. The BEAM1224 series projects an infrared beam to a reflector and alarms when smoke obscures it, in single-ended, 4-wire models, with integral sensitivity testing on the BEAM1224S, and the OSI-R adds another reflected-beam option for the same applications.

A full set of accessories supports the line: long-range kits extend coverage distance, surface and multi-mount kits position the detector, heating kits prevent condensation in cold or humid environments, and RTS151 remote test and reset stations allow ground-level testing of ceiling-mounted detectors.
