Beam Detector Accessories

Beam detector accessories solve the two practical problems of projected-beam installations: mounting a detector and reflector rigidly on distant walls, and testing a device that sits 20 feet or more above the floor. Surface mount kits (BEAMSMK) and multi-mount kits (BEAMMMK) position the BEAM1224 series on flat or angled surfaces, and the heavy-duty 6500-SMK and 6500-MMK do the same for the 6500 series. The BEAMLRK long-range kit extends coverage beyond the standard range for long warehouse aisles and atriums.

Heating kits (BEAMHK, BEAMHKR) warm the optics to prevent condensation and frost in cold storage, unheated warehouses, and humid spaces where fogging would cause a trouble or false alarm. Remote test stations, the RTS151 and the keyed RTS151KEY, let a technician run a functional test and reset from an accessible wall location with green power and red alarm LEDs, which keeps annual testing off a lift.
