Digital Keypads & Card Readers

Keypads and readers decide who a Securitron lock lets through. For a single door or a small site, a keypad that controls the lock directly is often all the access control needed. For a larger system, the same keypad can act like a card reader and report codes to an access control panel, and wireless readers extend that control to openings where running cable is impractical.

The DK-12 is a standalone keypad for lower-security indoor traffic control. The DK-16 and DK-26 are two-piece keypad systems for medium to high security: the keypad mounts at the door while the separate control board mounts inside the protected area, so tampering with the keypad cannot release the lock. The DK-16 fits a single-gang box indoors, the DK-26 fits narrow stile aluminum doors, and replacement keypads such as the DK-26PSS and DK-16P restore a system without replacing its controller. Wiegand versions output a standard card format so a keypad can join an access control system as if it were a reader, and R100 Aperio wireless readers bring card access to glass, stone, and marble entries.
