Smoke Detector Test Aerosols

The M8 Smoke Centurion is an aerosol tester designed to test the widest possible range of smoke detectors, hand-held or with a dispenser. Its silicone-free testing reduces the risk of detector contamination, and it is UL and ULC listed with no CFCs and a low GWP propellant. The SmokeSabre (2.6oz) cannot be used too close to the detector: the aerosol only activates when the sabre is fully extended, which eliminates harmful residue. CO and Heat Detector Testers

The Solo C6 is a CO detector test aerosol for carbon monoxide fire detectors, with genuine, non-flammable CO gas and an included nozzle and straw; see CO detector testing. For heat detector testing, the Solo 461 cordless heat detector test kit includes 2 SOLO770 battery batons and a SOLO727 charger, and the Solo 423 is a corded 110/120V heat detector tester with a 5m cable.

Access Poles and Detector Test Kits

The SOLO100 is a 4-section telescopic fiberglass access pole for testing fire detectors at heights up to approximately 20 feet; it extends from 4.8 feet to 14.8 feet with a certified non-conductive, non-whip construction. Add SOLO101 4-foot extension poles, or use the 8ft SOLO108. The SOLO823KIT is a 30-foot smoke, heat and CO detector testing kit with a Solo 100 access pole, 3 Solo 101 extension poles, a Solo 330 aerosol dispenser, a Solo 460 heat detector tester and a Solo 200 removal tool, and the SOLO851KIT is a 24 foot kit. Removal, Cleaning and Component Testers

Removal and cleaning covers the Solo 200 universal detector removal tool and BLOWout detector dusters. Alarm component testers include the CELL03 CellChecker, which uses pulse load technology to test a battery's state of charge and condition on 2V, 4V, 6V, 8V or 12V batteries up to 200AH, plus the DB02 dBChecker sound level meter and the DUCT01 duct detector test manometer, an accepted test device for annual testing of the pressure and air sampling ability of duct detectors.
