Honeywell OmniClass Readers and Smart Credentials

OmniClass is the Honeywell smart card platform: a range of 13.56 MHz contactless secure smart card readers and the credentials that go with them. It is the upgrade path from 125 kHz proximity where a secured read matters.

Readers are listed across mullion, switch plate and wall mount sizes, and multi technology readers read both smart and proximity credentials, which is what makes a phased migration possible: the reader goes up first and the cards change later.

Credentials are listed by the technologies each card carries. Smart credentials cover PVC cards, fobs and stickers, smart plus proximity credentials carry both technologies in one card, and magnetic stripe versions are listed in smart with magnetic stripe and smart plus prox with magnetic stripe for sites that still swipe.
