Honeywell Smart Credentials

These are the pure smart credentials in the OmniClass line, designed to work with the OmniClass readers and built on 13.56MHz technology. Unlike a proximity card, the credential carries application areas, so access is one use among several the card can serve.

PVC cards at 16K bits are the standard issue, listed in 26 bit and 34 bit formats with 16 application areas. Sticker credentials do the same job without a card at all, attaching to a phone, a badge or a device that staff already carry.

Cards that also carry proximity are in smart plus prox credentials, and magnetic stripe versions are in smart with magnetic stripe.
