Securitron PB2 2" Square Push Button, Momentary, Single Gang, SPDT, Illuminated, Green/Red/Handicap

The Securitron PB2 is a 2" square, momentary Push-to-Exit Button on a stainless steel single gang outlet box cover.
This Exit Button is used for temporarily releasing fail safe or fail secure electric locks. Timed release can be achieved by interfacing the exit button with a release hold timer, like the Securitron TimeMate.
This exit button comes outfitted with SPDT contacts.
For a more visual guide, click here The model PB2 is a spring loaded momentary 2” diagonal flush button, which is mounted on a stainless steel box cover. Included are switchable lenses that come in green, red and blue. While the PB series had a medium round button, the PB2 comes with a large square with easy to read text. It comes with different options, to be illuminated, single or double pole, and a red, green or handicap LED on the plate. The SPDT contacts switch when the button is depressed and it returns when released. For PB2 installation instructions, click here The PB22 is that same type of button, but with bi-color illumination. The DPDT contacts will switch when the button is pushed in and return when it is released. They are UL listed with 5 AMP capacities. It has resistors installed so that the LEDs may be operated on 12 or 24 VDC. The yellow wire drives the indicator LED and the green wire drives the switch. The PB22 comes with a retro-fit wall mounting device and color coded hookup wires installed. If the black box is used, a box with a minimum depth of 2 ½” should be selected. For PB22 installation instructions, click here The PB2E is also a spring loaded 2” square, exit button, with all similar specifications as the PB2, however it can be used for momentary release of fail-safe or fail secure electric locks. I can provide a timed release of electric locks and may be used to input a REX signal to a card reader system. The “E” stands for economy version. This model is supplied without back box and without hookup wire. It’s connection is made via .250” quick connect terminals found on the read of the unit. Along with instructions the PB2-LK should include three different parts, a 030-14600 which is an LED, a 540-32180; a green wire with resistors, and lastly the 540-16600 which is a black wire. The other most common use is a timed release of a fail-safe electric lock using the PB2’s TimeMate.
