Emergency Pull-Cord and Shower Stations

The SF117/2C emergency call switch has a rugged, long-life, positive-acting switch on a flame-retardant (UL 94V-0) plastic panel. A short pull in any direction on the 6' nylon cord signals an emergency, the signal can only be canceled at the point of origin, and two circuits operate a separate visual and audible signal, while the SF117/4C is a four pole version. The SF155B works as a pullcord or pull-down emergency station, the SF133 is a water-resistant emergency pull-cord station, and the SF337C shower pull station is waterproof when properly installed, thanks to rubber-grommeted screws, a rubber mounting gasket and a sealed faceplate. The SF339 uses a locking mushroom-style button that cancels by turning it clockwise.

Patient Stations, Call Cords and Room Controllers

The SF121 patient station has one 1/4-inch call-cord jack, a call-assurance LED and an illuminated reset button, the SF122 has two jacks and two call-assurance LEDs with UL/cUL listing (1069 and 2560), and the SF123 2-button pull-cord station includes button inserts for emergency, code blue or bath and requires the IH121K or IH122K mounting kit. The LI122 room controller with dome light and the PM120 room controller each have 6 station connection points, and the SF125 duty station annunciates calls with 4 LEDs and a tone speaker. The IR311E patient station provides two-way, hands-free communication between patient and nurse. SF301A call cords fit stations where 1/4 phono jacks are used and SF401A cords fit 8-pin DIN jacks, both oxygen safe for patients receiving oxygen therapy, and CA016K TPU pull cords may be cleaned repeatedly and retain their original strength.

Tek-CARE500 Wireless Emergency Call

Tek-CARE500 devices use 900 MHz signaling. The SF501ES water-resistant pendant uses press and one-second hold activation, weighs less than 1.4 ounces and includes a neck cord and belt clip, and the SF5012ES requires pressing both buttons at once to further reduce false alarms. The SF531ES wireless emergency call station latches calls locally and includes a washable TPU pull cord kit, the SF520ES door/window egress transmitter has a built-in magnetic reed switch in a tamper-proof case, and the SF503UL lanyard pendant and SF523UL wireless emergency room station are also listed. The NC397A alphanumeric pager stores up to 65 messages, and the NC502 PC-alarm panel sends alarm messages over a POTS line to a central monitoring station.

Dome Lights, Annunciators and Master Stations

The LI381 corridor dome light flashes rapidly for emergency calls and lights steadily for normal calls, with the LI382 and LI382LED zone lights and the LI122UN room controller dome light alongside it. The NC110/12 is a 12-light audible-visual nurse call master station in which emergency calls take precedence over routine calls, the NC415G3 master station has an LCD touchscreen display, and CM800 modular annunciators cover systems requiring from 16 to 344 annunciator lamps. Replacement LI014K bulbs fit CM800, DS100, NC200, NC150 and NC110 annunciators.

Apartment Intercom Stations and Entrance Panels

The IR204E apartment intercom station has momentary-action push buttons for talk, listen and door operation and needs just 3 common and 1 selective wires, and the IR104E is a flush mount version, while the IR207B is a 4-wire flush mount 2-gang stainless steel station. Entrance panels include the AM612 series with a speaker, buttons and name holders (the speaker panel can accommodate up to 16 push buttons), the AM192 series, and the vandal-resistant AM492 and AM642 series. The PK543A amplifier runs 3-, 4- or 5-wire apartment stations with AC, DC or maglock door release, three selectable delayed door timing modes and post office door lock release, and the PK502B transfers voice and door release to whichever entrance panel is called from. Power and hardware include the SS102A transformer (120 VAC primary, 16 VAC 10 VA secondary) and the PO001 normally locked electric door opener for 8-16 VAC or 3-6 VDC.
