Special Application Detectors

Some spaces defeat a standard spot detector: high air velocity in plenums and equipment rooms, very shallow ceilings, and HVAC equipment that runs at no flow or low flow. System Sensor's 100 Series low-profile plug-in photoelectric detectors, represented here by the 2151, are built for those conditions with a sensing chamber sealed against back-pressure airflow, dirt, and insects, a profile only 2 inches deep, stable performance in high air velocities, low current draw, and a built-in test switch.

The 2151 head plugs into a range of adapter bases in several wiring configurations and voltages, including 2-wire bases with relay contacts and current-limiting resistors and 120 VAC and 24 VAC/DC bases for duct and equipment installations, so one head type serves conventional panels and standalone applications alike. A remote LED option and a removable, cleanable screen simplify inspection.
