Duct Detector Accessories

A duct detector only works with a correctly sized sampling tube. System Sensor DST metal sampling tubes run from the DST1 for ducts up to 1 foot wide through the DST15 (1 to 2 feet), DST3 (2 to 4 feet), DST5 (4 to 8 feet), and DST10 (8 to 12 feet), alongside the older ST-3, ST-5, and ST-10 sizes and the ETX exhaust tube. The tube's inlet holes draw a representative air sample across the duct width into the sensing chamber, so match the tube to the duct, not to the detector.

For testing and annunciation, the RTS2 and RTS2-AOS multi-signaling stations and the RA100Z remote annunciator bring test, reset, and status to an accessible wall location, and the APA151 annunciator with piezo alarm provides local audible and visual indication on 4-wire duct detectors installed without a control panel, as NFPA 90A allows. The SENSRDR sensitivity reader displays detector sensitivity in percent per foot obscuration for i3 and compatible heads, the B114LP (120 VAC) and B114LPBT (24 VAC/DC) bases serve low-profile detector heads, and the DH400OE-1 weatherproof enclosure protects a duct housing outdoors.
