Door Timers & Local Alarms
Timing turns simple door hardware into a working sequence. A push button that releases a lock only while pressed becomes a usable exit once a timer holds the release for a few seconds, a door can unlock automatically for business hours and relock at night, and a delayed egress door needs precise control of its alarm, delay, and release.
The TM-9 is a compact release timer that extends the hold-open request from a push button or keyswitch, enabling single-hand operation of the door or delaying the re-arming of an alarm. The DT-7 digital timer runs daily or weekly schedules on 12 or 24 volts AC or DC and switches a 10 amp double pole, double throw relay, so doors and other systems lock and unlock on programmed intervals. XDT exit delay timers, the XDT-12 for 12 VDC systems and XDT-24 for 24 VDC, manage delayed egress for fail-safe locks, supporting entry control, door and lock monitoring, and authorized immediate exit, which is why they are common in healthcare. The PZ1 piezo sounder on a stainless single-gang plate provides the local alarm for exit delay or door prop conditions, and the TM-2 handles unusual multi-step timing such as vault sequences.
