Alarm Keypads
The keypad is the system as far as the end user is concerned, and DSC gives you four ways to provide one. Slim LED keypads such as the LED5511Z are the economical choice for a secondary entrance or a tight wall, showing status through fixed symbols and numbers and offering programmable function keys with dual fire, auxiliary, and panic keys.
Alphanumeric LCD keypads earn their place at the main door, because a zone named in plain language turns a troubleshooting call into a quick fix. The LCD4501 does this on MAXSYS panels over the four-wire Combus, which carries both power and data. The RFK series folds a 433 MHz wireless receiver into the keypad itself, so the RFK5508 and RFK5516 support up to thirty-two wireless zones and sixteen wireless keys without consuming a zone slot, which removes the need for a separate receiver module on a wireless job. Two-way wire-free keypads in the WT5500 family run on AA batteries with a full alpha display and mount anywhere, including desk-stand and proximity-reader versions, and the matching transformers and desk-stand kits are stocked alongside them.
Match a keypad to a board under panels, add receivers under modules, and enroll devices from sensors. Browse the full DSC catalog. Contact our team for keypad and panel compatibility.
