Alarm Control Panels

The panel sets the ceiling on everything else: how many zones the building can carry, how many keypads and partitions it supports, and which communicators will talk to it. DSC's line is deliberately laid out as a ladder, so the same programming knowledge carries from the smallest residential board to a large commercial system, and a job can move up a tier without relearning the platform.

PowerSeries covers most work. The PC1616 starts at six zones and expands to sixteen, the PC1832 runs eight to thirty-two, and the PC1864 reaches sixty-four zones with support for eight keypads, all hybrid boards that accept hardwired and wireless points together. MAXSYS PC4020 handles the larger end at sixteen to one hundred twenty-eight zones, including commercial fire configurations with a dual-line dialer and red cabinet. Boards ship several ways, so read the part number: PCB-only versions suit a panel swap into an existing can, while NK and kit versions come with cabinet and hardware, and CUL versions arrive in an attack-resistant commercial cabinet. Versions carrying CP-01 software have the SIA false alarm reduction defaults enabled.
