Gentex 710CSXC Ceiling Mount Photoelectric Smoke Alarm (Form C)

The Gentex 710CSXC Photoelectric Smoke Alarm with Visual Signalling Appliance-Ceiling Mount is a smoke alarm that provides audible and visual early warning protection against fire where needed. This smoke alarm works with the light scattering principle meaning it uses a pulsing LED light source as well as a photo sensing chamber. The light source is an infrared light beam that emits every few seconds and will bypass the photodiode under normal conditions. However, when smoke and fire is detected, the pulsing LED light source will grow to 8 times its size. Features of this smoke alarm include a horn frequency of 3100HZ, a quick disconnect wiring harness, and a three position test switch. It also includes 2.5% sensitivity, 9VDC battery backup, and a 5 to 1 signal to noise ratio. Ceiling mountable and outfitted with form C contacts, the 710CSXC can interconnect with up to 6 units.
