Spacesaver Right Angle Electric Bolt Locks

SDC Spacesaver 1091A failsafe and 1291A failsecure bolt locks have a stainless steel bolt that projects at right angles to the lock mechanism, so the lock installs by means of a simple cutout in virtually any standard 1.75 inch frame or in most door lock stiles, with the entire lock concealed.

The 1091AIV is a Spacesaver electric bolt lock with a narrow mortise and failsafe operation for a 1-3/4 inch frame. It has a solid stainless steel bolt with a 3/4 inch throw and 5/8 inch diameter, needs a frame inner dimension of 8 x 1-1/2 x 1-1/2 inches, draws 0.45 Amp at 24VDC or 0.9 Amp at 12VDC continuous duty, and comes with two aluminum mounting tabs and an adjustable auto relock switch. It is UL listed for the US and Canada and UL 10C positive pressure compliant. The 1291AHV is a failsecure electric bolt strike with a 0.625 inch bolt throw, and satin stainless steel (1091AIU) and black anodized (1091AIY) versions sit among a choice of 9 anodized and plated finishes.

Options include a mechanical door position switch (1091AIVD), a magnetic bolt status switch (1091AIVB), both switches together (1091AIVDB), wood applications such as the 1091AIWDC, and deadlocking 1091ADL models, which are equipped with a deadlocking mechanism that prevents the bolt from being tampered with and pried to unlock and are recommended for failsafe applications requiring a higher level of security.
