Proximity and PIN Readers

The convertible line is the core of the range: a unit such as the AYC-F54 works as an outdoor backlit keypad reader on any standard controller, or converts into a fully featured 500 user standalone controller when connected to a Rosslare intelligent power supply. Convertible models come as 3x4 and 2x6 keypads, in US single gang, mullion, ultra-slim and anti-vandal housings, with PIN only and PIN and proximity versions. The goPROX AYC series adds Genuine HID Technology and decides automatically whether to act as a reader or a secured standalone controller.

Plain proximity readers include the AY-H12C US gang box and AY-K12C micro mullion 125 kHz weatherproof readers with 26 bit Wiegand output, the AY-K35 multi-smart BLE and NFC reader, piezoelectric PIN readers such as the AY-S55 for high traffic and harsh environments, a clock and data proximity reader module and an EM card desktop reader that sends card numbers to access control software. Smart Card and Long Range Readers

Smart card readers work at 13.56 MHz. MIFARE Classic EV1 sector readers read data from a card sector rather than just its serial number, which suits sites combining access control with time and attendance or electronic wallets, and CSN readers read the Card Serial Number from many smart card RFID standards. The O2S line covers MIFARE Plus and DESFire EV1 with and without keypads, and Bluetooth models add BLE, NFC and OSDP. For vehicles and gates, UHF 900 MHz readers are listed in medium and long range versions with Bluetooth, alongside dual and quad channel RF transmitters. See multi technology readers.

Standalone and Networked Controllers

Standalone controllers put the decision in the unit at the door, with up to 500 users on a single door, in outdoor mullion, anti-vandal piezo and PIN and proximity versions. Networked panels cover 2 door and 4 door IP control panels in the B series, with I/O and reader expansion modules, and the AC-825IP is the scalable platform: a 4 door networked controller with one onboard expansion slot that takes up to 12 expansion boards over OSDP, with 4 door reader expansion boards listed for it. Biometric Terminals and Guard Patrol

Fingerprint terminals are listed with 125 kHz EM credentials and with 13.56 MHz MIFARE credentials, indoors and outdoors, along with Bluetooth models that combine a fingerprint sensor with EM RFID and a BLE reader, an LCD terminal and a card programmer and fingerprint enrollment station. Cards, Tags and Vehicle Credentials

Credentials cover 125 kHz proximity ISO cards in 25 packs, printable with standard card printers, read-only proximity key tags in 25 packs, and UHF windshield vehicle tags and paper labels programmed at 26 bit for parking and gate control.

Door Hardware, Power and Accessories

Door accessories include piezoelectric request to exit switches that are non-sparking, non-magnetic, corrosion resistant and illuminated, in mullion and gang sizes with or without labels, magnetic locks with lock status and indicator in 1200 lbs and 600 lbs holding force with adjustable L brackets, external metal mounting enclosures, hardwired and wireless sirens and strobes and a compact bell and strobe unit for standalone controllers.
