These Potter switches supervise the water level and water temperature of a sprinkler supply tank.

The WLS water level switch is a float operated device for supervising water level in a sprinkler supply gravity or pressure tank. It mounts in steel tanks with a 1 1/2 inch bushing, with a 1 1/2 by 2 inch adapter bushing available for existing 2 inch steel flanges and an optional adapter for wooden tanks, and it detects the water level before a 3 inch rise or fall. It has two sets of SPDT (Form C) contacts, one for high and one for low, and a NEMA 4 rated enclosure suitable for indoor or outdoor use.

The TTS-S for steel tanks and TTS-W for wood tanks are water tank temperature supervisory switches preset to give a low temperature signal at 40F and a high temperature signal at 140F. They are UL Listed and FM Approved, and a diode in the unit serves as a testing aid.
