What are the device addresses for my Vista 20P?

Last Updated: 11/07/2013
Some devices only work with the Vista 20P if their corresponding device address is programmed into the control panel.

This is true for a host of Honeywell devices, including zone expanders, wireless receivers, relay modules, touchscreen keypads, traditional keypads, internet communicators, and cellular communicators. Each device is given its own address which helps it communicate with the control panel.

Certain devices are automatically programmed with the proper addresses as soon as they are wired into the control panel. Others require manual programming.  Below you'll find a list of devices and their corresponding device addresses.

00: Honeywell Wireless Receivers; automatically programmed when wired into the Vista 20P and assigned a zone

01/02: Touchscreen Keypads (default assigned)

03: Internet communicators and cellular communicators; enable field *29 to program

04: 4286 voice module; automatically assigned after field *28 is enabled

05-06: Touchscreen Keypads; enable using *189 programming field; requires programming on keypad and control panel 07-11: 4219 and 4229 zone expander; dip switch settings affect which address is automatically enabled upon installation 16-23: Regular Honeywell Keypads (16 is default enabled); the others need to be manually programmed by enabling fields *191-196

25: Total Connect monitoring service; enable field *91

28: 5800TM Transmission Module (automatically assigned) Correctly programming your devices ensures that they will work properly with your Vista 20P.
