The Vista 20P gives the user an option of setting up two partitions in the same location. Each partition requires a minimum of one alarm keypad.
An alarm code is programmed for each partition in the keypad. Code "02" is the default-assigned system master code, which controls system arming/disarming as well as the programming of partition user codes. Partition master codes work in much the same way as the system master code, except they are restricted to use within one, specific partition.
Partition user codes are assigned by default. Partition one is assigned code "03". Partition 2 is assigned code "33". Using these codes will arm and disarm their respective partitions.
To program additional user codes for Partition 2 only, follow these instructions:
1) Use the master code or partition master code to create a new user code
2) Type in the master or partition master code, then the "8" key, then the pre-programmed user number (2-digits), then "#322".
