IEI Access Control Keypads, Readers and Controllers

This IEI catalog covers standalone and networked access control keypads, proximity readers and credentials, single door and multi door controllers with their management software, keypad locksets, and the power supplies, relay boards and request to exit switches that finish an installation. Browse the full IEI catalog below, or shop access control, keypads, readers, credentials and commercial access control.

Standalone Access Control Keypads

Keypads are the core of this range. The 2000e has hardened backlit keys for indoor and outdoor use and can run standalone or with an IEI Secured Series or Wiegand panel, and the 212i is the cost-effective indoor flush-mount keypad, with 4 independent outputs, 4 independent timers and up to 120 user codes. Weather resistant versions include the 212iLW and 242iLW with chrome-plated trim, the 212iLM-AL for mullion frames and flat surfaces, the surface mount 212SE and the 212W. The 2000EM adds metal Braille alpha-numeric keys, the 212R is a rugged cast aluminum keypad with a tamper loop, and SSW keypads cover the Secured Series. Keypad electronics are conformal coated in manufacturing, which is what allows the same unit indoors and out. See keypads.

Proximity Readers and Credentials

The ProxPad is a standalone proximity reader and keypad for up to 2000 users, with two relays and two inputs for request to exit and door position, and prox.pad plus adds an integrated controller. Wiegand readers include the SP6820 at 125 kHz with a 6 to 8 inch read range, single gang P-500HA and mullion P-300HA readers, and xCeedID XF readers in mini-mullion, wall-mount and mid-range versions, including multi-frequency 13.56 MHz and 125 kHz models for eMerge and Max 3. Credentials cover ProxKey fobs and ProxCard II and ISOProx cards in lots of 25, MicroProx adhesive tags that convert a nonmetallic card into a proximity credential, and magnetic striped cards. See readers and credentials.

Controllers, Modules and Software

The MiniMax 3 is a single door panel with the Door Control Module built in, and it networks with other MiniMax 3 or Max 3 controllers up to 64 doors. Secured Series II door control modules plug into a Hub Max backplane to add a door at a time, supporting 2000 users per door and 1500 transactions, and an output module is listed for Max3. eMerge controller bundles pair a network controller with a 2 door access control module, enclosure and power, with video management licences alongside. Hub Manager Professional software manages Max3, MiniMax3, prox.pad plus and LS2 systems, and Secure Ethernet Gateways put those systems on a LAN or WAN with 128-bit AES. See commercial access control.

Keypad Locksets

LS Series locksets put the keypad in the lock, so a door needs no separate reader, strike or power run. The catalog lists LS-1 standalone keypad access control locksets in cylindrical and deadbolt versions and LS-2 and LS-2P models that report to Hub Manager, with AM, CR and KN lever styles, interchangeable core preps, request to exit options and finishes such as 26D, 10B and US3.

Power Supplies, Relay Boards and Exit Switches

Plug-in DC power supplies are listed at 24W in 12V DC at 2 amps and 24V DC at 1 amp, with auto-resetting poly fuses so a short circuit does not mean a service call, and surge protection against AC line spikes. PowerGard supplies cover 12 or 24 volt DC at 2.5 amp and 1.3 amp, in a cabinet or mounted inside a Hub Max. The 293 relay board adds three one-amp Form C relays and a REX input to the 212i and 212w keypads, and the EZ-Rex is a weatherproof solid-state request to exit switch rated past 20 million operations.
