These readers present a credential to a panel rather than deciding access themselves, so they pair with a controller or a keypad that has a Wiegand input. The 125 kHz reader listed here is AWID compatible with Wiegand and RS-232 output, a 6 to 8 inch read range and single gang box mounting, rated indoor and outdoor in dark gray.
