Alarm Keypads
The keypad is the only part of a security system most people ever touch, and it decides whether a system gets used. If arming is quick and the display says something a person can act on, the system gets set every night. If it is cryptic, the building ends up unprotected no matter how good the panel is. That makes keypad choice a usability decision as much as a technical one.
Formats range from compact fixed-display and icon keypads for a back door or secondary entrance, to backlit alphanumeric displays in the 6160 series that spell out zone descriptors and trouble conditions in plain language, to color touchscreens with graphic icons, voice annunciation, and on-screen video. Some models fold a wireless receiver into the keypad so a panel gains radio capability without a separate module. Commercial fire installations use addressable keypads with dedicated trouble and supervisory indicators, set to an address on the panel bus.
Choose between wired keypads and wireless keypads, add desk stands under mounting, and match to a panel under intrusion panels and systems. Browse the full Honeywell Ademco / Resideo catalog. Contact our team for keypad and panel compatibility.
