Mounting Hardware
Not every panel or keypad belongs on a wall. A desk mount turns a wall-mount touchscreen into a countertop unit that can sit on a reception desk, a kitchen island, or an office credenza, which suits rentals and finished spaces where drilling into a wall is unwelcome, and demo setups where the equipment has to move.
Mounting hardware is model-specific. A stand is cut for a particular panel footprint, routes the power lead out the back so the cord is hidden, and holds the screen at a viewing angle that works when the user is standing over it. Brackets and back plates cover the other direction, adapting a device to an existing back box or hiding the marks left by whatever was on the wall before. Check the device the accessory is listed for before ordering, since a stand for one touchscreen family will not hold another.
