The HES 9200 Series is a low-profile, surface mounted electric strike for pairs of frameless glass doors with tubular vertical rod exit devices. One unit secures the pair: it retro-mounts using the existing header prep with no cutting required, and integrated adjustability positions each keeper to its latch - preserving the clean look of an all-glass entrance on storefronts, lobbies, and commercial pairs.

The 9200 exceeds ANSI/BHMA A156.31 Grade 1 standards with 1,500 lbs of static strength, 70 ft-lbs of dynamic impact resistance, and 1,000,000 tested cycles, in quiet-operating stainless steel construction rated for outdoor use (UL 1034). Adaptable voltage sensing runs the strike anywhere from 12 to 24 volts with no wiring selection (480 mA @ 12 VDC, 240 mA @ 24 VDC, PoE friendly), and operation is field selectable between fail-secure and fail-safe.

Order by keeper spacing - N narrow (4-5/8" centerline to centerline) or W wide (8-3/8") - with seven architectural finishes and factory or field installable monitoring: LM latchbolt monitor or LMS latchbolt and strike monitor (for example 9200W-630-LM). Compatible with roller latches from CRL, FHC, PRL, and dormakaba and the Rockwood PDU security latch, and backed by the SecuriCare 5 year no-fault warranty.

Frequently Asked Questions

What openings is the 9200 designed for?
Pairs of frameless glass doors with tubular vertical rod exit devices - one strike unit secures both leaves at the header.
How do I choose narrow or wide?
Match the keeper spacing to the exit device latches: N = 4-5/8" and W = 8-3/8", measured centerline to centerline.
Which exit device latches does it work with?
Roller latches from the CRL PA, FHC HP, PRL PL, and dormakaba GP series, and the Rockwood PDU security latch.
Does installation require cutting the frame?
No - it retro-mounts using the existing header prep.
What power does it require?
Anything from 12 to 24 volts - adaptable voltage sensing needs no wiring selection. Draw is 480 mA @ 12 VDC or 240 mA @ 24 VDC, PoE friendly.
Can it report door status?
Yes - order with LM or LMS monitoring, factory configured or field installable.
Can it be installed outdoors?
Yes - UL 1034 listed and suitable for outdoor use.
What about single glass doors?
Use the companion HES 9100 Series, the single-door version of this strike.
