Potter Amseco VSR-C-2 Waterflow Alarm Switch for 2" Copper Pipe, Vane-Type Waterflow Switch for 2-inch Steel Pipe, with Retard, SPDT Contacts

The Potter Electric VSR-C-2 is a vane type waterflow switch for use on wet sprinkler systems. It is UL Listed for use on Type K, L, and M 2" copper pipe.

The VSR-C-2 may also be used as a sectional waterflow detector on large systems.

The VSR-C-2 contains two single pole, double throw, snap action switches and an adjustable, instantly recycling pneumatic retard. The switches are actuated when a flow of 10 GPM (38 LPM) or more occurs downstream of the device. The flow condition must exist for a period of time necessary to overcome the selected retard period.

Enclosure
A general-purpose, die-cast enclosure houses the VSR switches and the retard device. Two tamper-resistant screws that need a unique key to remove hold the cover in place. As an extra, there is a field-installable cover tamper switch that can be used to signal unlawful cover removal. For this switch's installation instructions, refer to bulletin number 5401103.
