Potter / Amseco PCS-300-1B 1/2 HP SWITCH, BRASS

Pump Control Switch, Model PCS, featuring independent set and reset points that are programmable over the switch's complete operating range. Any location within the switch's operational range will yield the minimal Deadband (minimum spread between set and reset points). A snap action switch closes, activating the built-in pump control relay and turning on the pump when the pressure falls below the preset level. The snap action switch opens when the pressure rises above the high setting, deactivating the built-in pump control relay and turning the pump off. The pressure connection, diaphragm, or nitrile pressure-sealing o-ring are not damaged by the employment of this control device as an operating control in applications sensing air, water, or other fluids. It is the installer's obligation to implement safeguards (safety, limit controls) that prevent harm to people or damage to property, or systems (alarm, supervisory systems) that alert people to control failure. This gadget is not meant to be used with hazardous fluids or in explosive settings.
