Potter / Amseco AFC-100 RB REPLACEMENT AFC-100 BOARD

The AFC-100 is a 100 address total system capacity analog/addressable fire alarm system. Utilizing multi-point SLC modules, the system is able to handle more capacity. The exclusive Potter protocol, which uses a full range of sensors and modules, is used by the control panel. Each SLC allows for a maximum impedance of 50 ohms and can utilize any wire that complies with the National Electrical Code. It can be made up of any combination of smoke detectors, heat detectors, or modules (NEC).

The AFC-100 includes two Notification Appliance Circuits (NACs), two Input/Output (I/O) circuits, and a 5 Amp power source. The I/Os are individually rated for 1 Amp, whereas the NACs are each rated for 3 Amps. Each output has a power restriction and is regulated. Additionally, each output can be individually programmed and can be set to produce a steady signal, synchronize strobes, have constant power, power door holders, or release. Gentex, AMSECO, System Sensor, Cooper/Wheelock, and the proprietary Quadrasync are the strobe synchronization companies. Each output may have a distinct brand, and all strobes will flash simultaneously.

The PSN-1000 series intelligent power supplies can be used to increase NACs. The AFC-100 can accommodate up to 31 power supply and each PSN-1000 offers an additional 10 Amps of power and 2 additional input circuits. The strobes will all be synchronized by the system. The PSN-1000E also has room for up to six loop expansion cards to be installed. All SLC circuit connections are accessible thanks to the stacker bracket on which the cards are mounted.
