The Heavy Duty Tag ISO features reliable performance up to 10 meters [33 feet] with the TRANSIT Standard reader as soon as it enters the readers detection area.

The Heavy Duty Tag ISO is ideal for tamperproof mounting by means of screws, bolts or rivets exterior on vehicle chassis. The tag can directly be mounted on a metal surface.

This Heavy Duty Tag ISO is shock and vibration proof, watertight, UV stable and chemical resistant. The intrinsically safe design of the tag is type approved for use in potentially explosive atmospheres, Zone 21 and Zone 22, as is certified by the certificate number KEMA 09ATEX0016 X.

The Heavy Duty Tag ISO complies with the ISO 10374 directive for RFID of Freight containers. The Heavy Duty Tag ISO has been specifically designed to easily mount in the corrugated pockets on the sides of the freight container, where it can be automatically protected from direct impact.

The Heavy Duty Tag ISO is available typically in a Read Only (R/O). The R/O version is factory programmed with a unique customer specific security code and a customer defined number. The part number, tag ID number and date of manufacture are laser engraved into the enclosure of the tag.

Typical applications are the intermodal logistic, petrochemical, weighing, transportation, railway and security industry where the Heavy Duty Tag ISO can be applied to identify trucks, trailers, containers, railway wagons, forklifts, straddle carriers and other industrial vehicles. Private cars allow hidden mounting behind the grille of high secured environments.
