Macurco DVP-120M Addressable Detection and Ventilation Panel

The Macurco DVP-120M is a gas detection and ventilation control panel supporting 12 analog inputs and up to 87 digital detectors. It provides 3 configurable ventilation zones, 3 SPDT fan/alarm relays, 3 RS-485 digital channels, a backlit LCD, and external horn and strobe drivers. The panel works with compatible Macurco gas detectors to control ventilation and alarm functions in commercial gas monitoring applications.

Macurco DVP-120M Gas Detection and Ventilation Control Panel

The Macurco DVP-120M is a centralized gas detection and exhaust ventilation controller designed for commercial applications that require automatic response to monitored gas concentrations. The panel provides 12 analog 4-20 mA input channels plus 3 RS-485 channels supporting up to 87 digital detectors, with as many as 29 addressable detectors connected to each RS-485 channel. This hybrid architecture supports both analog and digital Macurco detector installations from a single control panel.

The DVP-120M supports up to 3 independently configurable ventilation control zones. Each zone can respond to gas concentration levels from one or more connected detectors and can also operate according to time-of-day settings. Three onboard SPDT relays are rated for 10 A resistive loads at up to 240 VAC and can be configured for exhaust fan control or alarm signaling. Relay activation delays and minimum run times are adjustable from 0 to 15 minutes in 1-second increments.

The control panel includes a 2-line, 16-character backlit LCD with an external keypad for system status, detector readings, relay status, and password-protected configuration. Six front-panel LEDs indicate power, alarm or warning conditions, hush status, and the state of each of the 3 relays. An internal buzzer produces approximately 90 dBA at 1 ft, while 2 external 24 VDC drivers rated at up to 250 mA each support compatible horn and strobe notification devices.

The Macurco DVP-120M operates from 90-250 VAC, 47-63 Hz single-phase power and is housed in a lockable NEMA 1 enclosure measuring approximately 10.5 x 12.5 x 2 inches. The panel operates from 32 F to 104 F (0 C to 40 C) at 0% to 95% non-condensing relative humidity. It is compatible with Macurco 6-Series and 12-Series gas detectors and is ETL Listed, including listing to UL 508A and CAN/CSA-C22.2 No. 14 requirements documented for the DVP-120M platform.
