Isonas RC-04-PRX-WKP 125kHz IP Keypad Reader-Controller

The ISONAS RC-04-PRX-WKP is a wall-mount Pure IP reader-controller with a backlit keypad, 125 kHz proximity credential support, and Bluetooth Low Energy. It combines the reader and access controller at the door, supports up to 64,000 credentials and 5,000 stored events, connects over Ethernet, and can operate from IEEE 802.3af PoE or 12 VDC without requiring a traditional access control panel.

ISONAS RC-04-PRX-WKP Pure IP Keypad Reader-Controller

The ISONAS RC-04-PRX-WKP is a wall-mount Pure IP access control reader-controller designed to combine credential reading, keypad entry, door control, and network communication in 1 device. The proximity-only model reads 125 kHz FSK credentials and also supports Bluetooth Low Energy for compatible mobile credentials. Its panel-free architecture places access control intelligence directly at the door and connects the device to the existing Ethernet network.

The RC-04 platform stores up to 64,000 credentials, 5,000 events, and 32 time schedules locally. Local decision-making allows the reader-controller to continue processing access requests when its connection to the host system is temporarily unavailable. The unit includes 2 configurable inputs for door position sensing and request-to-exit or auxiliary functions, plus conditioned lock power supporting both fail-safe and fail-secure locking hardware.

The RC-04-PRX-WKP supports IEEE 802.3af Power over Ethernet or 12 VDC input and can provide up to 600 mA at 12 VDC to connected locking hardware when powered through PoE. Network communication uses 10 Mbps TCP/IP Ethernet with half- or full-duplex operation, DHCP support, and host or client networking modes. The wall-mount keypad form factor includes a backlit keypad, status LED, metal backplate, and accelerometer-based tamper detection.

The ISONAS RC-04 keypad reader-controller is IP56 rated and operates from -40 F to 135 F (-40 C to 57 C), with conformal-coated electronics for weather resistance. The current wall-mount keypad chassis measures approximately 5.1 inches high by 3.25 inches wide by 0.71 to 0.75 inches deep and is UL 294 and FCC certified. Compatibility with Pure Access, Open Options, and supported third-party platforms makes the RC-04 suitable for commercial offices, multifamily properties, education facilities, and other network-based single-door access control applications.
