Intelligent life safety systems under the Kidde brand are powerful enough to supply straightforward solutions for small to medium-sized applications. These flexible systems provide versatility that is advantageous to both building owners and builders thanks to its intelligent detection, rotary addressing, automatic device mapping, optional Ethernet connectivity, and comprehensive line of readily-configurable optional cards and modules.

The FX-64 offers two Class B Notification Appliance Circuits and one Class B Intelligent Device Loop that can accommodate up to 64 device addresses (NACs). A module can be used to provide optional Class A device wiring.

One Class A or Class B intelligent device loop supported by up to 250 device addresses is provided by the FX-1000. Combining loop controller modules will increase the system's overall capacity by 250 points up to 1,000 device addresses. Four notification appliance circuits (NACs) are included in the FX-1000 panel and can be configured for Class A or Class B operation.

The RZI16-2RS module expands the capability of FX systems by including up to 16 circuits for standard devices and two extra NACs. Because they can work with both current conventional devices and new intelligent detectors, they provide an excellent retrofit solution.
