For UL approved fire alarm applications, Edwards' ANS line of devices are high-performance audio notification systems with speech evacuation capability that satisfies the Emergency Voice Alarm criteria of NFPA 72. ANS panels come with an amplifier, tone generator, digital message repeater (DMR), and supervisory interface. They are available in 25, 50, or 70 Watt variants. These self-contained systems come with a variety of ancillary equipment that supports their extensive field-configurable features and offers application flexibility and dependable performance for both new and retrofit installations. The ANS system's capabilities are expanded by expander panels and modules to accommodate even the most demanding audio applications, while peripheral devices like zone switchers and remote microphones provide high-end system sophistication at a comparatively low cost. When emergency voice alarm service is required, ANS systems work best with Edwards QuickStart and FireShield fire alarm control panels. All ANS systems are compatible with the distinguished Genesis range of field-configurable speakers and speaker-strobes from Edwards Signaling, which lends any spoken audio application a tidy, appealing appearance.
