Edwards Signaling 6538-G5 Call for Assistance Kit

Edwards Signaling 6538-G5 is a Call for Assistance package that lets handicapped people call for help during an emergency situation.

The kit includes a horn/strobe, transformer, and pull cord switch. The 6536-G5 Horn/Strobe produces an audible and visual alert. The 592 transformer powers the horn/strobe, and the 6537 pull cord station provides emergency call activiation and reset.

The Edwards 6538-G5 24V Call for Assistance system is intended for locations that need an emergency switch or a call-for-help button. The kit includes an emergency pull cord station, a Cat. No. 6537 horn/strobe for auditory and visual signaling, and a Cat. No. 592 transformer. Additionally, each component may be ordered separately.

Use in medical facilities, public restrooms, and locations designated for the disabled.

Horn/Strobe 6536-G5
The single gang 2" (51mm) x 4" (102mm) box above the door is where the 6536-G5 Horn/Strobe is intended to be installed. Each unit has a high intensity strobe and an audible horn signal that emits an 82 dBA sound pressure level at 10 feet.

Transformer 592
The horn/strobe is powered by an Edwards 592 transformer. It may be installed in both plastic and metal boxes and comes with a grounding wire.

Pull-cord switch, 6537
Emergency call activation and reset are provided through the 6537 pull cord station. It has a DPST switch on a stainless steel face plate.
