Edwards Signaling 5520D-AW Duotronic Horn/Siren, 24 Vdc. Horn/Siren function is field selectable via internal switch.

A siren or horn can be activated by turning a tamper-proof internal switch on this low current, high performance signaling device. The 5520D is primarily designed to be used in situations where signaling circuit field wiring needs to be electrically supervised. Additionally, unsupervised signaling applications may employ these signals.

The signal is global. The adaptaplate can be mounted on any single-gang aperture or directly on walls. By enabling the installer to attach all field wire to the plate before completing the installation by snapping the horn onto the plate, Adaptaplate expedites installation. Additionally, it may mount to fittings that are 3 1/4" (83mm), 3 1/2" (89mm), 4" (102mm) square boxes, 4" (102mm) octagons, or equivalent. With the help of the Edwards Cat. No. 349 rear box, the signal can be weatherproofed.
