Edwards Signaling 51R-G5-20W Edwards 51 Series flashing light with base mounted horn designed for indoor or outdoor installation. Often used in airport baggage carousels.
Flashing 51R-G5-20W 51 Series For indoor or outdoor applications, incandescent beacons with integrated horns are combination visual and auditory signaling devices. The flashing incandescent is timed with the incorporated horn. The base can serve as a junction box and is made of cast iron. The twin fresnel lens is optically designed to maximize light dispersion and viewing distance and is constructed of shatter-resistant polycarbonate.
The Edwards 51 Series AdaptaBeacon flashing lights with horns are made with unique optics inside a shatterproof polycarbonate lens to deliver a clear visual indicator. The twin fresnel polycarbonate lens ensures effective light dispersion. This is achieved with a set of complementary fresnels that, when the light is on, cause the dome to "fill." Fresnel lenses also extend the beam distance. Six color options for lenses are available: red, amber, blue, green, magenta, and clear. The unit's waterproof integrity is maintained while horn audibility is made possible by the distinctive base design.
Designed for installation either inside or outside. Be direct, mounted on a 4" (102mm) octagon box, or in 1/2" (13mm) conduit. Units must be positioned vertically with the lens pointing up for weatherproof installation. The Cat. No. CBR, corner mount bracket, or the Cat. No. WBR, wall mount bracket, may be used for indoor wall mounting. Use Cat. No. 92GRD lens guard for further breakage defense.
