The exponentially flared, reflex design of the Cobreflex IIB is utilized in public address, paging, and voice warning systems. When combined with the proper compression drivers, this reflex construction results in both compactness and high efficiency. The patent-protected folded design incorporates two distinct air columns in a single assembly, virtually eliminating the high-frequency phase cancellation inherent to reentrant designs. The 80-degree horizontal by 60-degree vertical dispersion pattern is advantageous for numerous applications requiring extensive coverage. In addition, exceptional loading is maintained until a low-frequency cut-off of 250 Hz. The Cobreflex IIB is made from high-impact acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) with a grey paint finish that inhibits ultraviolet light. For maximum mounting flexibility and ease of installation, a serrated positive-lock "U" mounting bracket is provided.
