The 4300-3M-202-313 series Deadlatch operates within conventional aluminum entrance door preparations and combines mechanical locking hardware with electric access control. By using a handle or paddle device, it can always be operated from the inside. Keyed mortise cylinders or access control devices are used for entry. To release the spring-loaded latchbolt, turn the key, apply voltage, and then operate the handle or paddle. It has a continuous duty electrical rating for timed applications.
